Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Meadow Manufacturing and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on work orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
