Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Loom Pharma Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 797 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in clinical studies and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on batch records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
