Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Diego, CA)

Clearpath Rook Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around San Diego, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Investigate trends in store inventory and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on online orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
