Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Lakeside Arts Center is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in event logistics and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on visitor services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
