Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Quill Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the San Diego area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on group events. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
