Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Diego, CA)

Bright Mill Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the San Diego area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. We invest in training. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in service installations and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on field visits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
