Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Cedar Quarry Environmental Services Associates and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on service complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
