Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Antonio, TX)

Cedar Forge Health Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 188 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in insurance authorisations and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on electronic records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
