Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Antonio, TX)

Bright Beacon Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from San Antonio. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
