Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Antonio, TX)

Bluepeak Basin Telecom is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 505 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in field visits and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
