Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Antonio, TX)

Summit Cobalt Auto Group is a San Antonio company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in service appointments and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
