Data Analyst - operations reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

Lumen Granite Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Salt Lake City. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Investigate trends in school calendars and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
