Data Analyst - operations reporting (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Sable Financial serves customers across Sacramento with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in regulatory reports and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vendor spend. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
