Data Analyst - operations reporting (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Vale Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Sacramento and nearby communities, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 167 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on treatment plant data. • Python or R for analysis.
