Data Analyst - operations reporting (Sacramento, CA)

Amberfield Yarrow Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Sacramento area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in reviews and feedback and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on group events. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
