Data Analyst - operations reporting (Richmond, VA)

Redstone Summit Medical is a Richmond company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in regulatory submissions and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on clinical evaluations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
