Data Analyst - operations reporting (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Hollow Environmental Services Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
