Data Analyst - operations reporting (Richmond, VA)

Westbrook Lantern Insurance is an insurance company in Richmond with claims and service teams, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on premium billing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
