Data Analyst - operations reporting (Reno, NV)

Redstone Ember Learning Group is an education provider in Reno serving students and families. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Reno. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in school calendars and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on student accounts.
