Data Analyst - operations reporting (Reno, NV)

Northwind Orchard Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Reno, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Reno. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in dock schedules and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on carrier rates. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
