Data Analyst - operations reporting (Reno, NV)

Northwind Granite Manufacturing makes precision components in Reno, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 916 people based in Reno. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
