Data Analyst - operations reporting (Reno, NV)

Harborlight Pike Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Reno, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on materials orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
