Data Analyst - operations reporting (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Juniper Legal Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Reno. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in billing records and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on document review. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
