Data Analyst - operations reporting (Reno, NV)

Harborlight Haven Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for warranty claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in warranty claims and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer estimates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
