Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Ironwood Vale Water Authority Partners supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for San Diego and nearby communities. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
