Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Rivermark Vista Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in catastrophe response and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
