Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Silverline Quarry Transit Planning helps transport agencies around San Diego design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
