Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Amberfield Stone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Honolulu. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
