Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Nova West Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Honolulu with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on collection routes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
