Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Willow Insurance and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on premium billing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
