Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Sable Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on production lines. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
