Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Summit Pharma Group is a pharmaceutical company in Des Moines producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in regulatory filings and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
