Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Nova Cobalt Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Knoxville area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in learning materials and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on school calendars. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
