Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Amberfield Quill Legal Group is a Denver practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in trust accounts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on document review. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
