Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Fernwood Quill Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Charleston region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter readings. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
