Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Fernwood Quarry Energy delivers power and gas plans across the New Orleans region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
