Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Amber Auto Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on service appointments. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
