Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Ironwood Meadow Community Partners runs community programmes across San Jose. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 98 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on grant reporting. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
