Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Quarry Banking Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in deposit accounts and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on fraud alerts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
