Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Northwind Keystone Arts Center Group is an arts centre in Madison with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in visitor services and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on school partnerships. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
