Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Lantern Early Learning and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in classroom supplies and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on licensing records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
