Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Stonegate Bridge Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Honolulu working with agencies and riders, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in survey data and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on route schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
