Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Silverline Juniper Civic Services Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for procurement, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in procurement and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on public records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
