Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Sparrow Transit Planning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
