Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bright Orchard Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Anchorage. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on fare systems. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
