Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Rivermark Nest Community Partners is a Detroit charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on grant reporting. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
