Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Loom Housing and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in rent assistance and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on repair requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
