Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bright Amber Learning Group is an education provider in Boston serving students and families, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on attendance records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
