Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Nova Corner Markets is a San Diego retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 985 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
