Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Stonegate North Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Memphis. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
